BARBORA AS A LEADER

Success for me on the job means when things change for the better or when this new "better" becomes visible and people notice it, ideally making their lives more joyful, lighter, or similar. Success for me privately means feeling connected to the people around me. I think I have had many successes, but I wouldn't describe myself as "successful" because success is not the highest priority for my vision of "better." It's more about steps forward rather than absolute milestones. What helped me achieve those steps forward were a strong vision, amazing teamwork, sharp priorities, flexibility, lots of communication, hard work, and having fun.

When I think of a leader, I think of somebody that leads me to see more clearly and sparks hope that together we can achieve anything.

Becoming a parent has profoundly influenced Barbora's leadership style. She realized that applying pressure is not the best way to achieve results, either for herself or others. Inspired by daring leadership and parenting concepts from Brené Brown and others, Barbora has adopted a more "light" leadership approach. Parenthood has enhanced her patience and empathy, making her a more understanding and effective leader.

Barbora views success differently in her professional and personal life. Professionally, she defines success as making positive changes visible to others, bringing joy and lightness to their lives.
