ABOUT BIRGIT
Birgit always wanted to become a teacher because she loved school and wanted to be a role model. She sees her job as meaningful, transferring knowledge and accompanying others on their life journey. Despite many role models in school, she transitioned into economics where she believed she could excel.

BIRGIT ON WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Birgit manages work-life balance by setting clear limits and priorities, engaging in sports, and occasionally saying no to manage her mental health. She values a supportive partnership and an organized schedule to stay resilient.
BIRGIT ON CAREER CHALLENGES
Birgit faced challenges transitioning from being seen as a woman to a mother in her professional setting, struggling with how she was perceived and treated post-maternity leave. She worked doubly hard to prove her worth, nearly leading to burnout until the pandemic allowed her time to rebalance and regain her confidence.
EVERY CHALLENGE IS A NEW OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND GROW.
