KIM AS A LEADER

Success lies in kindness, resilience, and positivity. Embrace challenges, embody a nurturing nature, and attract positivity.

Leadership is not one size fits all.

Great leaders are authentic in their actions.

The future of leadership is intersectional.

When I think of a leader, I think of respect (or Michelle Obama!).

KIM ON RESILIENCE

Kim emphasizes the importance of resilience and learning from failure in her leadership journey. Having faced redundancy three times in five years, she used these experiences as catalysts for growth. She started a podcast, wrote a book, and delivered a TEDx talk to share her insights. Kim's perspective is that failure, while challenging, builds resilience and empathy, which are crucial qualities for effective leadership.

KIM ON BEING A MOTHER AND A LEADER

All the best things in my life have happened to me since having my daughter, and I believe this is because I became more assured and assertive in my decision making. I knew that if I was ever going to be away from her, and carry-on working, then it had to be for a really good reason, and this positively informed a lot of my decisions, made me work harder and become more focused, which was incredibly helpful.
