ZINZILE ON FOSTERING INCLUSION
When given a seat at the table, remember to set aside your privilege and reconnect with the purpose of your invitation. Bring your genuine self, rooted in your unique experiences and background, to ensure authentic representation of your community. Failing to do so is equivalent to perpetuating a superficial facade of diversity, devoid of true inclusivity and meaningful change.
ZINZILE ON TRANSFORMING LEADERSHIP PRACTICES
To banish the imposter syndrome that often accompanies leadership, one must embrace their multifaceted identity, acknowledging both strengths and weaknesses. This includes accepting vulnerability, uncertainty, and past wounds, as well as being willing to say 'I don't know' and leveraging that humility to learn from others. It's liberating to recognise that it's okay to not have all the answers and to openly acknowledge areas where others may have more expertise.
BY BEING TRUE TO ME, MAXIMISING MY STRENGTHS, & HARNESSING WEAKNESSES AS DRIVING FORCE FOR SELF-IMPROVEMENT THROUGH AN INTROSPECTIVE JOURNEY - RIPPLE.
