She attributes her success to effective listening and continuous stakeholder management. "To tackle these challenges, I listened. I assured my teams that I would buffer them and take responsibility, using diplomacy to manage friction." This approach has helped her navigate complex situations and maintain trust within her organization.
SANDRA ON SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION
Sandra is committed to empowering young women through mentorship and scholarships. She supports a foundation in Kenya, providing scholarships to young girls at secondary and university levels and mentors them when possible. "As part of my personal corporate social investments, I support a foundation of young girls through a scholarship program in Kenya." Additionally, she is involved with the Eisenhower Women Leadership Fellows, furthering her impact on developing future leaders.
